The Turks and Caicos archipelago stretches across forty low cays in the northern Caribbean, rimmed by the world’s third-longest barrier reef. Grace Bay Beach is the name most travellers know, but Long Bay, Taylor Bay, Sapodilla Bay, Leeward, Turtle Tail, and Blue Mountain each have their own shoreline  and character. Providenciales International Airport is a short flight from the east coast of the US, Canada, and the UK — and once you land, nothing on Providenciales is more than fifteen minutes away.

Grace Bay sits at the heart of Providenciales — walking distance to the island’s best restaurants, boutique shopping, and the Caribbean’s most famous stretch of white sand. Long Bay, on the quieter south-eastern shore, offers wide, shallow water for kiteboarding, paddleboarding, and long afternoons with small children.

Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay occupy protected coves with glass-flat water, well-loved by families with young swimmers. Leeward, at the island’s north-eastern tip, is the jumping-off point for boating and water adventures — marinas, private charters, and quick passage to the outer cays.

Turtle Tail is the island’s quietest corner — a stretch of southern cliffs and small, hidden beaches where most villas perch high above bright, shallow water. Ours sits at its edge. Blue Mountain sits on the North Shore, its villas perched on the iron shore with the Atlantic stretched out in front.

Every Hummingbird villa comes with a host who grew up here. The concierge knows the owner of your boat, and where your captain went to school. Most villas also come with a butler and a housekeeper; where they don’t, we arrange them. Add a private chef to any stay — peas and rice and cracked conch Saturday, a five-course tasting menu Sunday.

From booking to farewell, we handle everything in between: airport transfers, groceries, in-villa dining, childcare, the day on the water, the supper that follows.
