There are a number of excellent restaurants on Providenciales not to be missed during your stay. Whether you prefer a relaxed meal and local beer or more refined dining experience with fine wines, indoor or beachfront, you’re sure to find a spot to meet your preferences.
In the mood for some local fare? We know where to get the best conch fritters, peas and rice and jerk chicken. Maybe you’re craving Mediterranean? Fancy sampling French cuisine that’s as fresh as it is authentic? Fortunately, our islands are also home to a variety of types of cuisine and settings to satisfy every kind of craving. Keep reading to discover the best restaurants in Grace Bay and around Provo. Bon appetit!
Beachfront, Open Air Local Fare
There’s no shortage of eateries by the beach offering up fresh local fish, irresistible jerk chicken and pork and tasty rum punch, but one of our favourites is Omar’s Beach Hut in Five Cays. Omar’s is a popular beachfront restaurant among both locals and visitors. They source their seafood directly from a local fisherman’s dock next to the restaurant. This makes it an ideal spot for fish, conch or lobster (in season). Surrounded by the shallow turquoise waters of Five Cays Beach, Omar’s Beach Hut is only a 10-minute drive from Chalk Sound or 20-minutes from Grace Bay. These shallow waters make this one of the best beach spots for young children. Plant yourself on the breezy deck or with your toes in the sand, rum punch in hand, and keep an eye on the kids as they play safely in ankle deep waters.
We also love Da Conch Shack and Froggie’s on Da Beach which both specialise in a variety of delicious local fare. They serve up great fresh seafood dishes, including our island favourite conch salad. You’ll also find fresh fish and lobster during the local open season. You can find these Provo favourites on the northwestern side of the island in Blue Hills. The close proximity to our Sapodilla Bay villas and idyllic location make it the perfect option for guests to enjoy a casual lunch under the sun, with their bare feet in the sand.

Grace Bay Favourites
Situated in the heart of Grace Bay, Caicos Café offers a unique blend of Italian and Caribbean cuisine coupled with fresh local seafood. This fine dining restaurant is set on the wooden terrace of a cottage, surrounded by rustling palms. It oozes a relaxing island ambience. Menu offerings range from snapper couscous to seafood paella. But it’s the handmade pasta at Caicos Café that really steals the show. To end your day with a gourmet handcrafted meal in a warm and friendly setting, look no further than Caicos Café.
In the mood for authentic French cuisine? A charming French sidewalk bistro in Grace Bay, Le Bouchon du Village will transport you to the streets of Paris. Tuck in for an evening of escargot, foie gras, steak au poivre and more. French-born Chef Pierrik Marziou runs the place. This family-owned restaurant is renowned for their use of fresh, high-quality ingredients to create exquisite meals. While authentically French, dishes are often infused with an island twist through the use of fresh local fish and lobster. The ambience here is always elegant yet relaxed. A combination of the delectable dishes and cozy atmosphere have earned Le Bouchon a loyal following. This spot is a favourite among locals as well as tourists.
Ambience and Views
Meanwhile, centrally located on Provo’s north shore, Magnolia Restaurant & Wine Bar offers fine dining with a spectacular view over Turtle Cove. At Magnolia, you’ll find a variety of seafood dishes with international flavours. The sesame crusted seared tuna in particular is a favourite. Magnolia pairs its full bar and an extensive selection of wines by the glass which makes it an ideal option for an intimate dinner in a romantic outdoor setting. Other fine dining favourites include Indigo at Wymara, The Deck at Seven Stars, Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar at Grace Bay Club (perfect for sunset drinks), and Bay Bistro at Sibonne Resort, where you can dine on Grace Bay Beach under the stars.
Casual Dining With a Touch of Class
Cocovan is a popular lunch and dinner destination in central Grace Bay, adjacent to its sister restaurant, the famous fine dining restaurant Coco Bistro. Cocovan operates out of an airstream trailer—the only one of its kind on Provo. Picnic bench seating is arranged underneath a canopy of breezy palm trees. This spot offers classic fast fare with a gourmet twist. Sample tacos and burgers, ideal for a quick bite after a day of shopping in Grace Bay. Standouts here include the Peking duck tacos, classic poutine with cheese curds and gravy, and the tuna tartare. Ending on a sweet note? Try the Caicos churros, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
