Omar’s Beach Hut
There’s no shortage of beachfront restaurants in TCI with great outdoor seating. You can expect these spots to offer up fresh local fish, delicious cracked conch with peas and rice, and tasty rum punch. One of our favourites is Omar’s Beach Hut in Five Cays. Omar’s Beach Hut is a popular beachfront restaurant among both locals and visitors. An ideal spot for fish, conch or lobster (in season), Omar’s Beach Hut is surrounded by the shallow turquoise waters of Five Cays Beach. Plant yourself on the breezy deck or with your toes in the sand, rum punch in hand, and keep an eye on the kids as they play safely in ankle deep waters.
Da Conch Shack & Froggies on Da Beach
We also highly recommend Da Conch Shack and Froggie’s on Da Beach which both specialise in a variety of delicious local fare. They serve up great fresh seafood dishes, including our island favourite: conch salad. (Check out our post on Conch to learn all about our favourite mollusc). You’ll also find fresh fish and lobster during the local open season. You can find these Provo favourites on the northwestern side of the island in Blue Hills. They offer the perfect spots for you to enjoy a casual lunch under the sun, with your feet in the sand – or an evening under the stars. Be sure to check their websites for live music and weekly events.
Best Restaurants for Fine Dining
Embers
The all new Embers live fire restaurant and cocktail bar just opened up in December 2023 in Grace Bay. Serving up delicious handcrafted cocktails, a fabulous wine list and wood-fired fare – it has quickly become a guest favourite. While you sip an Embers Old Fashioned you can watch the culinary team whip up your meal on the parilla grill in the open kitchen. The Asian inspired menu is also influenced by local flavours and ingredients. They have live music a few times a week.
Le Bouchon du Village
In the mood for authentic French cuisine? A charming French sidewalk bistro in Grace Bay, Le Bouchon du Village will transport you to the streets of Paris. Tuck in for an evening of escargot, foie gras, steak au poivre and more. French-born Chef Pierrik Marziou runs the place. This family-owned restaurant is renowned for their authentic French cuisine, often infused with an island twist. The ambience here is always elegant yet relaxed. A combination of the delectable dishes and cozy atmosphere have earned Le Bouchon a loyal following. This spot is a favourite among locals as well as tourists.
Caicos Cafe
Situated in the heart of Grace Bay, Caicos Café offers a unique blend of Italian and Caribbean cuisine coupled with fresh local seafood. This fine dining restaurant is set on a wooden cottage-styled terrace, surrounded by rustling palms. It oozes a relaxing island ambience. Menu offerings range from snapper couscous to seafood paella. But it’s the handmade pasta at Caicos Café that really steals the show. To end your day with a gourmet handcrafted meal in a warm and friendly setting, look no further than Caicos Café.
Magnolia Restaurant & Wine Bar
Meanwhile, centrally located on Provo’s north shore, Magnolia Restaurant & Wine Bar offers fine dining with a spectacular view over Turtle Cove Marina. At Magnolia, you’ll find a variety of seafood dishes with international flavours. The sesame crusted seared tuna in particular is a favourite. Magnolia pairs its full bar and an extensive selection of wines by the glass which makes it an ideal option for an intimate dinner in a romantic outdoor setting.
Bay Bistro
Bay Bistro is located on Grace Bay Beach in The Bight, offering al fresco dining overlooking the beach. This menu incorporates fresh local catches with traditional favourites, with a twist. This is a favourite brunch spot Friday through Sunday, but also very popular for dinners under the stars. Their almond crusted grouper and conch wontons are signature dishes that keep visitors and locals coming back for more.
Coco Bistro
Coco Bistro is located on Grace Bay Rd, and is best known for the ambience with outdoor seating under the palms and twinkling lights. The menu at Coco Bistro features American cuisine with a Caribbean flair. This is one of the most popular restaurants in TCI so we recommend making a reservation well in advance.

Casual Dining Favourites
Sharkbite
Sharkbite is a great spot to grab a cold beer or dacquiri for lunch or dinner, extending out over the water in Turtle Cove Marina. Serving up hearty American fare plus an island twist. Their cracked conch is tender, and their wings menu features a number of different sauces to try. Standouts here include the grouper sandwich and their conch burger. You might even catch a glimpse of a shark cruising by!
Baci
Baci’s menu includes a number of Italian favourites and is also our favourite pizza spot. Open for lunch and dinner, dine in the open air as you watch the boats pass by. The restaurant is situated along Turtle Cove Marina. Traditional Italian fare is served with chicken parm and fresh pastas, as well as a focus on fresh local fish. They also have a great bar with a good selection of wines to please everyone.
Cocovan
Cocovan is a popular lunch and dinner destination in central Grace Bay, adjacent to its sister restaurant, Coco Bistro. Cocovan operates out of an airstream trailer—the only one of its kind on Provo, with picnic bench seating arranged underneath the palms. Standouts here include the Peking duck tacos, classic poutine with cheese curds and gravy, and the tuna tartare. Ending on a sweet note? Try the Caicos churros, served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Other fine dining favourites in Providenciales include these restaurants which are located inside resorts. We love the service, ambience and dishes at Indigo at Wymara, Their new BlueWater Bistro on the beach is a great new addition to the dining scene. The perfect option for a beachfront lunch spot and we can’t wait to try it out for dinner.
The Deck at Seven Stars is a great spot for a beachside lunch or a casual dinner with outdoor dining. For a more upscale experience, Seven offers a more traditional menu, great cocktails and air conditioned indoor seating.
Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar at Grace Bay Club is one of our favourite sunset spots with casual dining options in the lounge, or a more formal dining experience on the deck. Weekends are lively here with live music and DJs.
