Chalk Sound National Park
Without a doubt, the scenic Chalk Sound National Park is worth a visit, if only to take in the views of this unique environment with its famous brilliant blue-hued waters. As a national park, motor-powered boats aren’t permitted in the shallow waters of Chalk Sound. But the park does provide excellent conditions for kayaking and paddleboarding. If you do venture out on a kayak or paddleboard, be sure to pay a visit to one of the rocky islets for which Chalk Sound is known. These tiny islands are home to the endemic Turks and Caicos Rock Iguana, and some have impressive gallery caves to be explored.
